At Vesta, every detail matters. From the collars we design to the packaging we deliver them in, we’re committed to making every aspect of our brand both premium and sustainable. We knew from the beginning that our packaging had to reflect our values of high-quality craftsmanship, unique design, and eco-consciousness. But creating packaging that balanced these elements wasn't an easy journey.
Our initial idea was to create custom boxes with stands to display the collars, giving them a bold, premium presentation. We loved the idea of a sleek stand holding the collar in place, making the unboxing experience feel more like opening a luxury product. However, when we made a prototype, it just didn’t fit with the design aesthetic we envisioned.
Moreover, the logistics of it proved tricky—every customer orders a different number of collars, and the stands would need to be customized for each purchase. This added unnecessary complexity to production and wasn’t efficient. We wanted our packaging process to be smooth, practical, and consistent, while still maintaining that premium feel.
After several rounds of brainstorming and testing, we came up with a concept that felt just right: hand-sewn fabric bags. These bags are the perfect solution, offering protection during shipping while adding an extra layer of quality when the customer opens their package. The bags are branded with our Vesta logo, giving them a refined, yet minimalist appearance that matches the aesthetic of our collars.
These bags also offer more than just beauty—they're designed to be reused. Whether they become candy bags, small storage pouches for dog accessories, or travel bags for other essentials, we wanted to make sure our packaging had a second life. This not only adds value to the customer experience but also reduces waste, staying true to our eco-friendly mission.
To complete the packaging, we place the fabric bags inside a recycled cardboard box. But we didn’t want just any standard box; it needed to feel unique and special. So, we decided to laser etch the boxes with a custom design, giving them a distinctive, premium look. The etched detailing adds an extra layer of craftsmanship that elevates the overall feel of the packaging.
The combination of a beautifully designed box, reusable bag, and our commitment to sustainability ensures that the unboxing experience is one of care and consideration.
